In June 2017, my fiancé (Allie Thut) and I quit our day jobs and headed west. Afterward, we had over 500GB of photos and videos, plus a wealth of knowledge that we were ready to share with the world. From there, Taking the Scenic Route was born, a perfect combination of my love of the outdoors, travel and production.
